Exercise Daily

PERFECT HEALTH = PERFECT CIRCULATION
Life is in the blood, and each cell in your body is dependent on that life giving blood bringing all it needs to not just survive, but thrive. Exercise increases blood flow everywhere in your body.  Anything we do that inhibits that circulation is damaging to our overall health.
When our circulation is inhibited our cells are inhibited from being able to function at their optimum capability, therefore resulting in sickness and disease.

Water

Drinking plenty of water helps the body flush out waste and toxins.  This is very important for weight loss, energy levels, cognitive thinking, and overall health..  Not sure how much water to drink?  The average person needs about half their body weight in ounces every day.
Getting thirsty yet?  Studies show that, in the average healthy adult, the thirst response is directly related to already being dehydrated.  Don't wait until you're thirsty.  Sip on some water throughout the day to keep well hydrated.

Sunshine

This is not only important for a happier you, its important for a healthier you.  It’s the best way to get Vitamin D, and with a proper diet, your skin exposure to sunlight can actually create nitric oxide releasing compounds that flow into your bloodstream and can decrease blood pressure and increase arterial function.  It can also aid in naturally regenerate Coenzyme Q10 (an important antioxidant generated by the body).  But, overexposure to the sun can increase your risk for skin cancer, so get some sunshine, but use temperance and don’t allow your skin to burn.

Temperance

Some people may not know what the true definition of temperance.  Temperance is taking good things in moderation, but also eliminating those things that are unhealthy.  For instance, even if your eating a healthy meal, you don’t want to gorge yourself because overstuffing the stomach can actually inhibit you from fully breaking down your food and fully absorbing all the nutrients.
You’ve heard the phrase “everything in moderation” but this is not applying the rule of temperance.
Let’s take smoking for example.  Even if I ate healthy and worked out, with each smoke I’m going to go backwards in my health goals.    Or what about alcohol?  It’s toxic to the liver, and in ANY amount is taxing on the liver to eliminate.  Just because something doesn’t kill us right away, doesn’t mean we should have it.  What about rat poison?  Our bodies can process a small amount of rat poison, but you wouldn’t want to eat one bit of that.

Fresh Air

Oxygen rich air is outside, especially near trees and plenty of plant foliage.  Getting oxygen rich air is vitally important to every cell of your body.  If the cells are restricted from getting this vital element, at any level, they will struggle to function properly and efficiently.  This kind of situation results in poor health of the mind and body.

Rest and Sleep

Getting the proper amount of sleep as well as sleeping during the night-time hours is crucial to optimum health.
Sleep depravation can affect mood, memory and cognition, immunity, weight gain, and the body’s ability to regenerate.
Optimum sleep for adults is 7 – 8 hrs, trying to make 3 – 4 of that before midnight.  For children is 10 – 12hrs depending on age.
Give you body the time it needs to restore and regenerate in those precious quiet hours of the night by creating proper sleeping habits.
